Ron was born in Roslyn, New York, just outside New York City, and grew up in a household that valued public service—both of his parents were high school teachers who instilled in him a commitment to making a difference. From interning with a local lawyer in high school to working with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in college, Ron’s fascination with the law began early. Inspired in part by Paul Newman’s The Verdict, he saw firsthand that people with skilled legal representation fared far better than those without it—a lesson that has guided his career ever since.

With over 30 years as a Legal Aid attorney, Ron has dedicated his career to leveling the playing field, providing vigorous representation to all clients, regardless of their means. He also brings a passion for legal education, having taught trial advocacy at George Washington University Law School, led law school clinics in D.C., and instructed numerous Continuing Legal Education courses for Virginia attorneys and judges.

Ron’s legal excellence is recognized by his peers and the judiciary alike, consistently earning an AV Preeminent rating, the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethics, and top ratings in Consumer Law and Real Estate Law. At PJI Law, Ron serves as a civil litigator handling a wide range of matters including fraud, real estate disputes, breach of contract, consumer cases, landlord/tenant issues, commercial litigation, foreclosures, leasing, fair debt collection, disability claims, mechanic’s liens, lemon law, and discrimination cases.

Ron lives in Annandale, Virginia, with his wife, Felicita. He is a proud father to Gabriella, a choreographer and dancer in South Carolina. Outside of the office, Ron enjoys playing tennis, performing music, traveling internationally, and cheering on his favorite team, the New York Knicks.
