Lead Case Manager
Katherine grew up in a close-knit, supportive family that moved frequently due to her father’s military service, though Northern Virginia has always felt like home. From an early age, her parents instilled in her and her siblings the importance of kindness, service, and giving back to their community, values that continue to guide her both personally and professionally. Living in different places, including a three-year stay in Japan, also shaped her appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives.
Katherine earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University and began her career in community corrections, working as a counselor at a nonprofit residential facility for at-risk youth. There, she developed a deep passion for advocating for individuals who need guidance, support, and a fair opportunity to move forward.
After transitioning into the education field and completing graduate-level legal studies coursework, Katherine knew she wanted to build a career in the legal field. She was drawn to PJI Law because of the firm’s shared commitment to compassion, respect, and ensuring every client feels heard and supported.
Outside of work, Katherine enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an aquarium enthusiast and takes pride in caring for her semi-aquatic turtle, Junie. She also enjoys traveling, attending concerts, dancing, recreational sports, word searches, sudoku, and moments of solitude.
