Will was born in Highland Park, Illinois and raised in Fairfax, Virginia, in a family where careful thinking was encouraged and curiosity was rewarded. He was the kind of kid who would lose track of time wrestling with philosophical questions — What does fairness really mean? What makes something true? — long before he had any idea what a deposition was.

He studied philosophy in college, not because he thought it would lead to a job, but because it helped him make sense of the world. After graduation, he found himself in that familiar place many liberal arts majors end up: wondering how to turn curiosity into a career. He was drawn to law because he saw it as being similar to the ethical philosophy that he studied in college, with the practical upshot of being able to affect positive change by helping others in his community through difficult, often life-altering moments.

Today, Will’s legal practice is driven by the same values that led him to philosophy in the first place: clarity, critical thinking, and a deep belief in helping others find a path forward. He approaches each case by carefully listening to the client’s story, identifying what’s at stake, and methodically building a strategy based on clear, shared expectations. Clients know where they stand—and what’s next. They often describe Will as grounded, attentive, and thorough. He doesn’t rush through conversations. He communicates plainly and honestly—even when the news is tough. He believes that trust isn’t a byproduct of legal knowledge; it’s earned through clarity and consistency.

Will lives in Clifton with his wife, who is his favorite hiking partner and crossword co-conspirator. He is a proud uncle to nine nieces and nephews and spends as much time as he can with his extended family.
